A suit was recently filed by a former employee of CSX Transportation against the company for injuries endured while at work.
The former employee filed the FELA lawsuit against CSX claiming they are to blame for an accident that occurred while he was working on the transit system.

Aaron E. Richards, a former conductor for CSX Transportation, filed the suit after he fell while he was performing a brake test.
Although CSX is denying any responsibility for the plaintiff’s injuries, Richards says that it was their negligence that caused the accident.

Richards is seeking compensation for his future and past pain, medical treatment, loss of earnings and loss of enjoyment of life.
He is seeking damages in excess of $75,000 for the incident.
